Henry J. Plum is a nationally recognized speaker and educator in the field of child abuse and neglect. As a former Assistant District Attorney, he has extensive experience as a prosecutor in areas of child abuse and neglect, and child-related litigation both in the civil and criminal courts. He currently is in private practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and serves as a special prosecutor and legal consultant in child-related litigation for both governmental and private social service agencies.
In addition to his litigation experience, he also conducts numerous seminars, and trainings for judges, lawyers, law enforcement, medical, social work and other professionals on child related legal issues for state, national and international agencies. In addition Mr. Plum serves as the legal advisor/parliamentarian for the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) and as is a former president and current board member for the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC). Currently he serves as the chair of the legislative committee for Children and Law section of the Wisconsin State Bar. He has authored several books and publications in his areas of expertise and is a Marquette University Law School Graduate.
