The Kempe Lectureship Award
This award was established in 1986 as a major feature of ISPCAN's international congresses. Following the example of Dr. C. Henry Kempe, the individual selected to deliver the Kempe Memorial Lecture must have made significant contributions to the welfare of children and demonstrated significant teaching experience. The 2018 Kempe Lecturer will be an invited speaker (travel and accommodation provided) at ISPCAN's International Congress and the Kempe Memorial Lecture may be published in the International Journal "Child Abuse & Neglect".
ISPCAN awards are presented every two years at the ISPCAN International Congresses. Award recipients receive a plaque, acknowledgment on ISPCAN’s website, and recognition in ISPCAN’s newsletter. Nominees must be current ISPCAN members in good standing for at least 2 years at the time of nomination.
