The first-of-its-kind benchmarking index covers 40 countries which represent 70% of the world’s children and will help to assess the progress toward reaching the Sustainable Development Goal 16.2 – ending abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence against and torture of children by 2030.
These guidelines, adopted by the Interagency Working Group in Luxembourg, 28 January 2016, provide all individuals and agencies working for the prevention and elimination of all forms of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children with guidance for the understanding and use of the different terms and concepts they may encounter in their work.
