Youth Forum

Saturday, September 13, 2014

The theme of Youth Forum in 2014 is "Our voices change the world.” This program is by invitation only and will allow youth from different countries to spend an entire day together. For those unable to attend personally we are looking at virtual participation through visual arts and technology in order to maximize participation of young people around the world.

In the morning, after reviewing Malala Yousafzai’s speech at the United Nations, each youth will report his/her own experience, get connected to one another, and share with the group the importance of sending our thoughts out to the world. At lunch time, they will have the opportunity to enjoy their time together, singing and dancing. In the afternoon, the youth will discuss issues focusing on child abuse and neglect, bullying, and other family problems. Finally, they will send out to the world, their messages, as well as sharing the voices of friends who have not yet been heard, so that the conflicts we all face every day will be resolved. We hope that those attending Youth Forum will also attend the Congress Plenary Presentation, Monday, September 15th.
