Helping Children Heal from War-Induced Trauma

The focus of the Master Class is on healing from the trauma of war and armed conflict, focussing on children and their caregivers. Rescue and safe placement is insufficient on its own – Children and families who have experienced trauma require services that provide opportunities for healing.  The focus of the 3 presentations (2 in workshop format) is on both health and psycho-social interventions. The Master Class will also have value for those who work with children and families whose trauma may be linked to other life events. Presenters will bring a wealth of both knowledge and experience and participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussion.
