ISPCAN Councilor, Sue Foley, was recently awarded as runner-up in the Michelle Beets Memorial Awards by the NSW Health Minister Jillian Skinner. The award honors the memory of Michelle Beets who was tragically murdered outside her home in Chatswood, Australia in 2010. It recognizes outstanding contributions to health care.
How wonderful to have your work recognized in this way. Congrats!

Thanks Niki! This award also belongs to all ISPCAN members who contribute to prevention of physical abuse of children using parent education programs such as the film for which members assisted with translation and continue to participate in through ongoing research.
A little film has been so influential !
