Kupukupu Level  ($15,000 to $20,000)

The kupukupu is a hearty fern, the first plant to break through the lava when it flows and covers the land.  It has no fragrance, no “glory,” it does the hard work.

Ānuenue Level ($10,000 to $14,999)

Rainbow. Our beloved rainbows, visually outstanding, remain as the spectrum of light even when they are not seen. In Hawaiian mythology, they are a symbol of assistance, of movement from a place of trouble to a place of safety.

Lehua Level  ($5,000 to $9,999)

A bright flower used in lei making, a “lehua” in traditional times also referred to the first warrior to go forward in battle.

Kukui Level ($1,000 to $4,999)

Candlenut tree. The kukui’s silvery green leaves stand out among all others on our mountains; its nut is used as medicine to purge and cleanse; its oil to create light. The Kukui is used to symbolize enlightenment.

Pu`uhonua Level  ($15,000 to $20,000)

Commonly understood as a place of “refuge” established by law in Hawaiian society, an ali`i (royalty) could also be established by law as a “pu`uhonua,” one to whom people can go to seek refuge.

If you are interested in providing sponsorship for any aspect of the Congress, please contact congress2010@ispcan.org . Sponsorship proposals will be in place to support the Congress social events as well as keynote speakers or the delegate registration pack. Sponsors are also invited to provide scholarships for delegates from developing countries. Sponsors will be acknowledged in the program and at the Congress.
