Selection Criteria
Scholarships are given to developing country professionals. Priority will be given professionals from Asia or Asia-Pacific region, professionals working in China, especially professionals from countries in the region where there is not strong ISPCAN representation currently;

• Priority to professions (Child Protection) that are traditionally not high-paying;
  
  
• Priority for those attending the ISPCAN Congress or Conference for the first time
  
  
• Priority to authors who have submitted an abstracts or several abstracts for the Congress
  
  
• Priority to professionals who are active in their communities currently and have the ability to take the benefits of this educational experience back to their communities of offer local/national training;
  
  
• Priority to those who have been able to obtain local matching or minimum contribution of funding (to enable us to stretch our available funding as far as possible);
  
  
• Limited sponsorship per country;
  
  
• Priority to professionals who are ISPCAN members / National Society members (committed to ISPCAN's multidisciplinary interest and commitment to CAN prevention--for membership forms contact below);
  
  
• Priority to professionals who are actively building ISPCAN progress worldwide
  
  
• Priority to National Partner Society Presidents
  
  
• Priority to those who complete the form fully and return it to the ISPCAN Secretariat by April 15, 2008.
